This lifelike beer crate starts life as a sales tool before instantly transforming into a ready-to-use retail stand!

TIGI Bed Head For Men won the Gold Star Pack Award 2016 for Corrugated Retail Ready and Point of Sale Award. In 2017 it won again - this time a World Packaging Organisation Award!

THE BRIEF

To create a promotional kit that resembled a wooden beer crate. The kit would be hand delivered into salons and setup immediately as a fully functioning retail display area.

BOXMART’S ROLE

We created a box with a hinged lid and side handles. A separate product tray and dividers kept the items in place during transit.
A removable promotional card was built into the lid to extend the crate’s life beyond the initial promotional period.

We presented the client with a digitally printed concept box featuring our own wooden crate artwork finished with jute hinges.

PRODUCTION DETAILS

The concept box was such a success that the client asked to use our artwork as the final design. It also wanted the entire
production run to be digitally printed to create the same textured finish as the conceptual mock-up.

We co-packed each crate and distributed them globally in bespoke outers.

RESULTS

The promotion has appeared in salons as far afield as Russia, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Australia, and we’re told customers
could not resist touching the box to see if it was a real wooden crate!
