Sipsmith Diamond Pack

LUXURY PACKAGING TO ENHANCE AND PROTECT - Starpack 2016 Award Winner! This unusual and award winning structure creates an outstanding customer opening experience!


Sipsmith, the creators of truly artisanal spirits of uncompromising quality, had secured a soft launch with John Lewis that, if successful, would lead to a nationwide Christmas launch. It required bespoke gift boxes to celebrate the bottle’s shape and frame it on the shelf without compromising its visibility.


We created a vertical bottle wrap that protected the glass bottle without obscuring it. Mock-ups were supplied in an array of materials from coated corrugated board to high-end carton board. Digitally printed 3D mock-ups were also presented to John Lewis.

A white matt micro flute board was specially produced for this project, providing superb strength and rigidity. Unlike conventional white board, that features grey/brown fluting, our bespoke board featured crisp white fluting. A high quality litho print process was used.
The particularly detailed nature of this project took 12 months to complete and was within the client’s deadline.
Both the client and John Lewis were thrilled with the packaging and the successful soft launch resulted in a nationwide Christmas campaign. The concept is also being adapted to suit other bottle sizes within the Sipsmith portfolio.
BoxMart is developing additional packaging concepts to further broaden Sipsmith’s retail gift range.
