BoxMart shortlisted for prestigious Solutions Awards
Bespoke packaging supplier, BoxMart, has been shortlisted in the packaging category of the highly-regarded Solutions Awards for its Great British Barber box.
The industry-first, functioning corrugated cantilever toolbox has proved popular with judges this year, having also being shortlisted in two categories at the UK Packaging Awards.
Jo Offord, BoxMart Managing Director, said: “We’re extremely privileged to work with forward-thinking clients on innovative, design-led concepts and delighted that our dedication to high-level creativity has been recognised at the Solutions Awards.
“Driving standout shelf appeal for today’s experience-driven consumer is something we take seriously within our design process. It was important to the Great British Barber team that the box excited and educated barbers, delivering instant impact to influence their purchasing decision. We’re proud to have achieved this.”
The unique case is easy to carry and sturdy enough to hold a wide range of products, both in transit and on display, yet compact enough to be displayed at point of sale in barber shops – which are traditionally limited on space.
The Solutions Awards, organised annually by Earth Island, celebrate solutions that creatively and effectively solve problems. The scheme is open to companies from across the packaging industry whose working practices demonstrate this innovation-led approach.
The six shortlisted entries in each category will be whittled down to three via a public online voting system, with winners announced at a prestigious awards ceremony at the Café de Paris, London on November 13, 2018.
