BoxMart switches to green energy
Bespoke packaging supplier, BoxMart, is putting sustainability at the heart of its business by switching to Bulb Energy, a leading new green power supplier.
BoxMart’s energy is now supplied by Bulb, meaning the company now runs on 100% renewable electricity and 10% green gas. By switching to Bulb, every single unit of electricity used by BoxMart is now matched with a unit put back onto the grid from a renewable source.
Jo Offord, Managing Director, BoxMart, said: “We are focussed on ensuring our sustainability credentials are up to scratch, particularly as the market continues to demand eco-friendly solutions and reward sustainable choices.
“Switching to Bulb Energy is a great way to ensure our focus on making environmentally-conscious choices extends to every aspect of our business and helps to make everything we do as sustainable as possible.”
The 100% renewable electricity Bulb sells is sourced from independent, renewable generators like Old Walls Hydro in Dartmoor or Oak Grove Solar Farm in Monmouthshire. Bulb’s 10% renewable gas is the cleanest on the market, coming from biomethane gas plants across the country.
Bulb Energy, launched in 2016, is committed to making the UK’s energy supply simpler, cheaper and greener. The power company is a certified B-Corp, meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
