BoxMart celebrates winning coveted WorldStar Award
Innovative packaging solutions provider BoxMart has capped an awards-filled year by winning the ultimate industry accolade – a WorldStar Award.
After already scooping a 2019 Starpack Award and being Highly Commended at the UK Packaging Awards for its work producing the first multipack for Welsh craft brewery, Tiny Rebel, the BoxMart team has now been honoured by the judges of the World Packaging Organisation’s pre-eminent awards.
“Winning a WorldStar Award is absolutely fantastic for our team,” said Jo Offord, BoxMart Managing Director. “These are the most prestigious awards in our industry, and for us to be named among the winners is both an incredible honour and also a testament to the hard work of everyone in the business.”
Named a winner in the Beverages category, BoxMart was praised for its work in designing and producing limited edition seventh birthday packaging for Tiny Rebel. The team collaborated closely with the brand to ensure they not only delivered an impressive opening experience that surprised and delighted consumers, but also securely held seven special edition cans of beer, balloons, pencils and a glass for e-commerce delivery.
“The team pulled out all the stops to ensure this project met our client’s every requirement and then surpassed their expectations,” said Jo. “As professionals who take pride in our ability to innovate and delight our clients, we were thrilled they were so impressed with the end result. But to subsequently win a clutch of awards – and finish the year with a WorldStar win – makes it even more special.”
Jo said that the BoxMart design team had demonstrated its capability to innovate by focussing not just on how the packaging looks, but also with how it works. “This particular design featured a tab for easy re-sealing, ensuring it could be reclosed to be kept by enthusiasts,” she said. “This functionality, coupled with its sustainability credentials and eye-catching design, have clearly helped the Tiny Rebel pack resonate with customers and the WorldStar judges alike.”
BoxMart and the other award winners will be honoured at the prestigious WorldStar Awards Presentations and Gala Evening Dinner, to be held during the Interpack international packaging fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, on 8 May 2020.
